Monochromatic Color Palette Beads

When using a monochromatic palatte you are simply matching a chosen color with beads of that same shade. Vibrant color create distinctive eye catching pieces especially set against plain clothing. The opposite can also be true.

Complementary Color Palette Beads

When placed next to each other, complementary colors make each other appear brighter. Choose an accent bead in a complimentary color if your goal is to show off the color of your principle bead. Dark shades of one color can be effectively mixed with light colors of complimentary color for added riche ness.

Neighboring Color Palette Beads

The neighboring or 'triadic' color palette uses three colors equally spaced around the color wheel. This scheme is popular because it offers strong visual contrast while retaining harmony and color richness. Triadic color harmonies tend to be quite vibrant, even if you use pale or unsaturated versions of your hues. Try letting one color dominate and use the two others for accent.
